Lana is an Associate that has worked on transactions that cover a wide spectrum of legal sectors, from litigation, mediation, and arbitration, to corporate/commercial matters for clients operating in various industries.
Lana’s litigation experience includes handling disputes involving the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority for alleged dues and fines claimed to be in the hundreds of millions of Saudi Riyals. On the corporate/commercial side, Lana’s experience includes advising on laws and regulations involving the Saudi Capital Market Authority (i.e. IPOs. rights issues, etc.), foreign investment, corporate restructuring, construction, employment, intellectual property, agency/distribution, franchising, and conducting legal due diligence reviews on corporate entities operating in the Kingdom. Lana’s requested legal opinions spanned assessment of minority shareholder rights, real estate fund regulations, and fund management authorities.
Lana has authored several publications and studies in relation to international humanitarian law and business law. Lana earned her LLB at Birzeit University in Ramallah, State of Palestine, and is a member of the Palestinian Bar Association and the Palestinian International Arbitration Chamber. She is fluent in English and Arabic.
