Cynthia Elias Gerges
Cynthia is an Associate with varied experience handling Corporate and Commercial transactions, involving matters spanning from bankruptcy, employment, capital markets, foreign direct investment, corporate formation, company restructuring, and M&As. Cynthia provided formal legal opinions on transactions involving public and closed joint stock companies on issues related to governance and legal compliance requirements associated with SAMA, CMA and MOC rules and regulations. Cynthia has also prepared and negotiated legal documentation including NDAs, franchise agreements, shareholders agreements, share purchase agreements, employment agreements, and joint venture agreements. Moreover, Cynthia has experience leading teams handling large inheritance files in Saudi Arabia, including division and distribution of properties, shares and financial assets in the Gulf Cooperation Council region and Europe, all in accordance with prevalent Sharia’ laws. Cynthia holds a Bachelor’s degree in law from the Lebanese University, and is currently resuming her studies for an LLM Degree. She is fluent in English, Arabic and French.
